Camp Lachenwald, Germany is a far cry from my current workshop in Marietta, Georgia, but it holds a special place in my heart as the birthplace of my love for paper crafting. At 13 my parents sent me to summer camp. We were told in our orientation packets to bring a “swap” with us to trade with the other campers that embodied our creative essence. I chose to make little stationery sets. With only a few small leaves as masks, an old toothbrush and a cracked watercolor set, I created my first paper crafting projects. They were a hit at camp and a lifelong love for paper was born.

In the many summers of scrapping and card making since my happy camper days, I have made a mental list of the three attributes I think a great paper crafting company should strive to uphold.

The launching of Couture Cardstock has allowed this list to become a reality and I would like share the promises we make to you, each and every time you choose to create works of art with us.

• Provide a quality product at a fair price. Couture Cardstock only offers products we use in our personal paper crafting. We acknowledge that you work hard for the money you earn, and we think you should get to keep more of it in your wallet.


• Service with a smile.  We thrive on customer feedback! Whether it is positive or negative commentary, we want to hear back from you. Our company is comprised of real paper crafters who love paper, so if you know how to do something better, drop us an email. We will, more often than not, reward you for your time.


• Focus on what the consumer wants. The word “Couture” refers to a particular segment of high fashion that produces fashion-forward clothing custom tailored to the individual. It is our goal to provide premium paper products specifically designed for discerning paper artists.

Our product line was hand picked and tested by paper crafters of a variety of skill levels, interests and budgets. It includes over 200 different colors, finishes and weights. A unique feature we hope you will find helpful is our stocking paper of 3 different weights. Each weight (light, medium or heavy) is specially suited for different techniques, projects, and challenges.  Every paper weight is clearly marked and helpful project suggestions can be found in our item descriptions and design team member gallery. We have priced our inventory competitively and though you will feel like you are scouring the bargain bin, these are our everyday prices.
