Hi! My name is Heidi Kelley and I am thrilled to be a designer for Couture Cardstock and am truly excited about this new journey we are embarking on together! I have two daughters, Ahna is 8 years old and Sarenna is 6 years old. I am also pregnant with our first son, Jax, and he is due to arrive sometime mid-December, although he keeps trying to come a bit early! My husband and I just relocated the family to Alabama, so life has been all about changes recently.

What do you most admire, and why?

Honesty. In all things. I admire a person who can be entirely honest about whom they are, in all that they do… confident in the amazing person that they are, unashamed to be the individual that they were meant to be.

Is there something about yourself that you think makes you unique from others?

While this is not terribly interesting, and probably does not make me unique from all others, I cannot raise only one eyebrow. My husband finds it hysterical… and I have been practicing for awhile now, albeit with no progress.

What is a good thing happening in your life right now? What makes it good?

Being pregnant with my son Jax! This is our surprise baby. We hadn’t really planned on having any more children, hadn’t made any permanent decisions, but this was completely unexpected. His being a boy has only made it that more fun after having two beautiful daughters already. I had thought my days of being a stay at home mom were nearing an end, but now I get to bask in the warmth of baby snuggles all over again!

Tell us 5 things that are on your scrap desk right now!

The beginnings of an art  journal, a box of paper scraps (I am handcutting tiny details out for my journal), Mod Podge, acrylic paint, and UHU liquid glue.

How would you describe your scrap style?

I have always had a hard time answering this! Eclectic? (With a hint of vintage and full of clusters and hand-cut detailing.)

This past month, I had the pleasure of working with Couture’s “Trick or Treat” line and thought I would share a few pages from the fun, yet creepy, album that I made…  I hope you enjoy!
