Happy Thursday, everyone! I’m so glad you joined me for my very first blog post for Couture Cardstock.

For my card today, I used 2 selections of cardstock from the Seduction Monochromatic Family: Temptress and Enticing. I love how they look together and they work perfectly with the small strip of My Mind’s Eye paper.

The Pure Innocence image from My Favorite Things was stamped in black Memento ink onto Detail Blending paper. I colored this sweet little girl using Copic markers. Then I stamped the same image onto both of the red cardstocks and cut the dress, pockets, boots and hearts out. These were placed onto the colored image using the paper piecing method.

Did you know you can use your Copic markers to shade colored cardstock? I did that on her boots and dress to create slight shadows under her pockets and in the curve of her boots.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you’ll join me again next week for another Copic colored creation.
