Brown Paper Packaging…
There are so many things that I love about the Christmas season. The family, the togetherness, the giving. I think most of all, I adore the tiny expressions of love that I find around my house during the December month. See… my family not only celebrates Christmas, but celebrates many birthdays as well, so the month is filled to the brim with joyous occasions! (My own birthday was on the first, I have 5 family members who celebrate their birthdays, and my newborn son will celebrate his as well because he should be arriving any day now!)
I truly love to make sure that each birthday is made special, and set apart from the Christmas holiday because I feel that each individual should receive the same love and appreciation that many do throughout the year. Some of the things that we might do to foster the spirit of their “special” days are to wrap their gifts in unique ways, make personalized, paper, garland for their doorways, etc. My personal favorite is to make keepsake gift tags, incorporating elements of their personality into each one.
My challenge to you this week is to personalize your gift giving this month… leave me a comment describing what you have done to give your present/presents a bit more pizazz and a personal touch! At the end of next week a winner will again be randomly selected to win a beautiful bit of cardstock from Couture Cardstock!
xx Heidi

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the free paper! It’s an early Christmas present for me!
We dont have a large budget for the adults this year so the grandparents are getting mini albums of their grandkids with 12 pics (one fav from each month).
I love that idea Rebecca!
When making birthday cards for others, I try to personalize or use colors or styles that I know they will like.
