New Years resolutions, anyone?

Challenges 31 December 2009 | 43 Comments

Do you make New Years Resolutions?  Do you stick to them?  Scrap them?  Journal about them?  Today we would like to hear about your resolutions, and what you are thinking and dreaming about for 2010.

I also want to give you some food for thought.  Have you thought about making a resolution about what you are NOT going to do in 2010?  As it relates to your paper crafting, here are some ideas to think about:

  • Resolve to not worry about how “good” or how “perfect” your art is.  Just enjoy it as art, your expression of yourself.
  • Resolve not to worry about “wasting” supplies if an idea doesn’t pan out.  We all have enough stash to last a lifetime, right?  So a few sheets of paper in the trash is not life-changing.
  • Resolve to use your own handwriting and not worry about how it looks.
  • Resolve to not be afraid to try new things (and new products)
  • Resolve to not put your art and hobbies on hold this year.  Make time for you.

So, there are a few ideas to get you started.  Leave us a comment telling us about your paper crafting resolutions, and one commenter will be chosen to win the Monochromatic Family of their choice.  Comments must be received by January 7th at 11:59 pm EST.

Have fun partying tonight!
