November Guest Designer Spotlight **Jennifer Matott**

Today I get to bring you a beautiful creation from the entirely inspiring Jennifer Matott! But before we get to the projects that she has made for us, we wanted you to be able to get to know her a bit better…
“I am an art teacher who LOVES her job! I get to play with art materials all day long and inspire little artists. I have a husband of 9 years and we have 2 boys. Mark is 5 years and likes to be creative with me. My little guy, Christopher, is 10 months old and the sunshine of my life. He is a happy baby and always smiling. We live in Central New Youk, outisde of Syracuse. I’m currently on the Bad Girls DT, Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker, Black River Designs, ScrapMojo blog, and Candy Shoppe Designs Challenge Blog.”
If you knew you couldn’t fail and money was no object, what would you like to do in the next five years?
“I’d love to create artwork and sell some of it locally. I haven’t really taken the time to do that and even though I’ve been a part of a few group exhibits, I haven’t really pursued a professional art career. I’d like to establish myself as a local artist.”
Tell us 5 things that are on your scrap desk right now!
“My desk is a mess!!! I guess there are some staples that always remain on my desk: my Tonic edge distresser, a paint palette, a few bottles of glimmer mist, paper trimmer, and my favorite punch.”
Black and white photos or color?
Black and white photos call to me and allow me to use ANY colors I want.
What is the one scrapbook product that you can’t live without?
“Besides cardstock, I would say I can’t live without glimmer mist or paint.”
Using Couture’s Cardstock, Jennifer made this stunning Cornucopia. The weaving here is amazing!

And if that isn’t enough to get your creative juices flowing… come back on Thursday to see more of Jennifer’s work!
xx Heidi
