It’s Wednesday, and it’s only 23 days until Christmas!  Are you ready?  I have only one gift left to purchase, and a meal to plan.  Other then that, we are good to go at my house.  :)

I have a journaling prompt for you today.  For me, the hardest part of every layout is the journaling, and it really helps me if I think about things I want to record in my scrapbooks and write down some journaling ideas.  That way, I can make certain that I am recording the things that I feel are important.  To get you started, here are some ideas for your holiday layout journaling:

• When you scrap the pictures of your family opening gifts, write about why you purchased that particular gift, or a story about how you found the perfect gift.
• Ask your children (on Christmas day) to tell you which gift was their favorite and why, then take a photo of them with that gift and include their words along with the photo on a layout.
• Take a photo of your decorations, and journal about which ornaments and decorations are special to you and why.
• Journal about how Christmas decorations and other traditions make you feel, and why you love them.
